Witness one of the largest wild elephant gatherings in Asia (seasonal), where herds from surrounding areas come to feed and drink by the reservoir. Even outside peak season, Minneriya and Kaudulla still provide excellent elephant sightings. The gathering typically peaks from July to October when hundreds of elephants congregate around the water sources. This spectacular natural phenomenon offers incredible photographic opportunities and a chance to observe elephant social behavior in the wild.

An absolutely incredible experience! We saw over 50 elephants during our safari. Our guide was knowledgeable and made sure we had the best viewing spots. Highly recommend this tour!
Amazing sightseeing opportunity. The elephant gathering is truly a spectacle of nature. The only downside was that it was quite crowded with other jeeps, but still worth it.
