 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a really great experience with this driver travelling from Mirissa to Negombo. He was extremely friendly, polite and well-mannered throughout the whole journey.

His driving was very smooth and comfortable, and I honestly didn’t even realise the journey was around three hours because it went by so quickly. That made such a difference, especially on a longer trip.

He made the journey very easy, stopping for breakfast along the way and always checking if I needed anything or wanted to stop. He was very considerate and made sure I was okay the entire time.

There was a slight miscommunication when we arrived at my hotel, but he kindly waited with me until the staff arrived, which I really appreciated. He even said he would stay outside the hotel and asked me to let him know once I was happy and settled, as my safety came first for him. I found that really respectful and reassuring.

As a female solo traveller, I felt very safe the whole time, which is so important. He was calm, respectful and genuinely kind.

I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful and professional driver. It was a really positive experience from start to finish.

I along with my wife had gone to srilanka for the first time, he guided us and was very punctual, well mannered and safe driver. The rates are reasonable and the vehicle is good. They picked my family and I up from our hotel in Colombo and safety and comfortably drove us 2.5hrs down to our accommodation in the south. The next day they pick up my parents and sister with her young kids at 5am and again got them to our accomodation safely and in the comfort of a nice air conditioned van! The entire process was super convenient, from booking to drop-off. They’re quick to respond, very prompt with service, and always on time, which makes a huge difference. The cars are clean, comfortable, and well maintained too.
What really stood out was the warm and welcoming nature of the owner Mr. Mohamed Safras, very professional yet friendly, which made the whole experience even better.

 Verified Amazing taxi company! This is the best taxi company in Sri Lanka! I would simply message the company the day before and they would provide me with a driver. All the drivers were safe drivers, on time and amazing. The prices were so cheap and everything was perfect. Cannot recommend enough for getting around Sri Lanka.

Srilankan Airways used to be my preferred Airline from London to Colombo (Sri Lanka) as has direct flights, good flight times, the cabin crew are courteous / friendly and was fairly overall good value. Sadly, things are not so good nowadays. The flight prices have over doubled in price in the past couple of years, the cabins and seating are looking tired and un-clean, The entertainment system and seating is touch and go and the food quality and choices declined.In July (24) I did a return flight and this was my experience from this trip:LHR – CMB 16/7/25 Check in very slow, even after checking in online and self printing of baggage labels . My entertainment system was totally dead and the cabin crew could not reset., so had a long flight with very little to do (I could not even charge my phone to use that) As we were approaching Colombo airport we noted 3 people around us using their sick bags, at the time we thought this was due to turbulence, but a few hours later my wife too was very sick, so suspect the food was not as fresh as it should be. I did actually e-mail SriLankan Airways customer service about this but they just didn’t bother responding other than the automated mail saying are will deal with my enquiry with 10 days (this was more than 10 days ago!)Our return flight back to LHR on 28/07/24, was slightly improved, but this time it was my wife who had a faulty entertainments systems and I just had a seat they would not recline and had a dodgy arm rest the squeaked for 11 hours.So unless to really need a direct only flight, I would advise not using SriLankan Airways as there are many other routes that are better and cheaper including Emirates / Qatar who are both excellent pending you don’t mind a stop on route. I have travelled this route with many airlines (as my wife has family there) but sadly I have to say SriLankan Airways has gone from my preferred airline to my last choice in the future.

01 What is the best time to visit Sri Lanka?

Sri Lanka is a year-round destination! The best time depends on which part of the island you'd like to explore. The west and south coasts (Colombo, Galle, Mirissa) are ideal from December to April, while the east coast shines from May to September.
